“Out of Darkness” Suicide Prevention Walk to be held in November
Another walk will be held at Ole Miss this November, but for something a bit different than breast cancer, something less widely known. The walk will be held for the prevention of suicide. The second annual “Out of Darkness” walk is being held in order to raise money for suicide prevention and just show those contemplating suicide that people do care, the world does care.
There are various organizations that raise money for various causes. But one that is more often than not over looked is the organization for suicide prevention. Suicide is a tough word to swallow and a very sensitive subject, however the prevention of it is vital and anything that has anything to do with that should be noted and participated in by everyone. One would think that everyone would love to save a life.
Hopefully this is the case, this town will find out on the 5th whether or not that is true. If you or anyone you know would like to join in on this walk or offer financial support, please visit https://secure1.olemiss.edu/tools/userfiles/lcolley-300-9edea4ef-e4fd-4b1b-b6f9-7c7939d046d5.html for more information.
